Our Associate/Family Pastor joined us in January of 2018. He formerly worked in the oil patch before surrendering to ministry in 2008. He grew up in Haslet, TX and has lived in Fort Worth and Lubbock, TX before moving to Hobbs.
Kyle was a contract welder in the oil patch before he surrendered to ministry. He has served in different roles on ministerial staff since 2009. He worked in College ministry and also in a unique youth discipleship primer program where he served as a hunting guide and as a spiritual mentor for Crossroads at Panadero Ranch. Ultimately he coordinated the Fort Worth, TX area for Crossroads. Kyle has also been around the world multiple times on different mission trips and desires to introduce church members to the exciting ministry of international missions.
Kyle graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX in the Spring of 2018 with a Master of Arts (Christian Apologetics). Kyle also holds an Associate of Applied Science in Welding Technology from South Plains College in Levelland,TX, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies from the College at Southwestern (now Scarborough College) in Fort Worth,TX.
Amy and Kyle have been married since 2008 and have two wonderful boys (Wyatt and Zane) and are expecting two more in the Fall of 2018. When he has free time Kyle enjoys a variety of activities, but typically is hunting, hiking, or reading.
